Hi, I was diagnosed with endocarditis due to late lyme in November. Right now, my treatment is 1 gram of IV Rocephin..I have completed two months and will continue for the next four months on it.. The doctor used my symptoms and an echocardiogram to diagnose me. I was having shortness of breath, chest pains, and extreme fatigue..I don't know if I answered all of your questions, but will help if I can with more.

Thanks jewelie, yes I had all the sx you've noted and they are slowly getting better with abx. I guess we just hope there is no permanent valve damage at the end of all this.

The fatigue from this is incredible(also improving with tx) Thanks again, kt
