Sorry to be such a pain on here and I am extremely greatful for all the advice you all have given!

1. What are/were your symptoms?
2. Did they ever go into remission (without treatment) and then come back?
3. How did you know it was lymes? Find a rash or tick bite?
4. Are you improving??

Nancy

Hi Nancy,

1. Symptoms were numerous, similar to others you've read here...arthritis, right calf stiffness, tinnitus, hair loss, sweats/hot flashes, jaw pain, thyroid, wacky hormones...these are some of the symptoms that immediately come to mind that persist, but have been less since abx. Some symptoms have gone away.

2. I'm doing the Diflucan protocol right now and have been off abx for a little while. The above symptoms still come and go, albeit less, and hoping for permanent remission...patiently hoping.

3. The Western Blot test was positive on IgM from Igenex. Yes, I had the usual red ring at the spot of the tick bite plus multiple rashes on both legs below the knees.
Wish I had known then that it was Lyme.

4. Yes, I have improved since being on abx for 1 1/2 years, but I'm off right now.

I hope you find a LLMD. Good luck.

Hi Nal, I will try to answer these best I can.

1. What are/were your symptoms?

Sharp shooting pains all over body, hip going out when I stood up, much memory loss, confusion, chronic fatigue, carpal tunnel, twitchin around the eyes and other places, and I am sure there are a few more, but these are the main ones.

2. Did they ever go into remission (without treatment) and then come back?

I do not think I ever did.....for 10 yrs plus I have had chronic fatigue, but do not seem to have it now after about 5-6 months of treatment.

3. How did you know it was lyme? Find a rash or tick bite?

Well, my mom has been diagnosed for 3-4 yrs now......just kept leaning towards Lyme. No rash or tick bite. Both my daughters have it also....age 19 mths and 7.5 yrs. I am certain I paced it to them either in utero or through my breastmilk.
Oh, and possibly hubby has it too.

4. Are you improving??

I would say I have improved, but I was not down and out like my mom. I do not have chronic fatigue anymore and have gotten off most sugar which helps!!
I know I still have it or the lingering effects of it. Not currently on abx, just taking hormones now. I may start abx again soon or do the Rife machine my mom has.

Hope this helps!
Amanda

1. What are/were your symptoms?

Inability to think, vertigo 24.7, this feeling of being drunk in my head, slurring speech, seizures, SEVERE skull spliting headaches, nose bleeds, tremors and twitches all over my body, electric shooting buzzers in my feet, orthosatic Hypotension, sleep apnea, internal tremors while sleeping.

I could go on, but I wont.

2. Did they ever go into remission (without treatment) and then come back?
5 months before I was diagnosed, my vertigo and migraines went away on their own. I was doing alternative treatments at that time. I got more symptoms though when I lost those two- just traded off symptoms. So the answer is, no.

3. How did you know it was lymes? Find a rash or tick bite?

I was tested for everything else under teh sun, including cancer. Lyme was the only thing that turned up. Plus, I herxed on antibiotics.

4. Are you improving??
Yeah, almost there.
