I don't know much about carnitine. There are food sources for it (meat, dairy, etc.), as well prescription sources and OTC sources, but for different kinds of carnitine. The Linus Pauling Institute has some good info.
I didn't do well with Augmentin, but was fine on biaxin without the augmentin as long as I took it with food. Don't forget to deal with coinfections, and take probiotics and do everything you can to prevent/address yeast overgrowth.
i looked at the site and also did some other searching of my own. decided to look at my nourisishing traditions book by sally fallon. she also pointed out that vegetarian diets don't supply carnitine. it's a protien you get from read meat.
i guess i'll try the supplements to see if it makes me less fatigued.
today i sarted on the biaxin and augmentin. it scares me to take so much antibioitics, as i never take any unless it's a must. hopefully i won't have a bad experience with the augmentin.
