I was on oral abx for six months and have been on IV Rocephin with no results for almost eight weeks.

My LLMD has decided to try a different IV med (I'm not sure which one yet, I have an appt. Monday.

Has anyone had success with situation or does it go on FOREVER. I can't remember what it is like to be well and have a normal life.

hey,

I did i month on IV Rocephin and felt better within a week and about 90 percent better after the full month. I was then put on oral Doxy, and was fine until I got off. I was put back on oral Doxy and got worse until I got better. I'm fine except for facial pain and light sensitivity. I'm no longer in pain. I could live fine this way if I could get off the antibiotics and still feel fine. In two months my doctor has decided we should try to get off it again.
