Thank you all so much for your kind words and support. The journal started as a way for me to let things out and keep track of my journey but it's turned into a way for others to get updates on how I'm doing and I've met some great people through it. It has truly been a blessing.
I usually update it every few days, if not everyday, so feel free to check back for updates on me. I tend not to post updates about how I'm doing on here because I don't like to clutter things up.
DQ, interesting that you found the background calming. I originally put it up for the holidays but kept it up because I liked it. However, I've changed it because a) it seemed time to do so and b) it was brought to my attention that because it's "busy" it may be hard for some Lymies to read the things on it. So, in order to make sure anyone who wants to is able to read it, I changed the background. I think you'll find the new background very nice, too.
Peace and healing, Annie

Annie, thanks for changing the background for folks like me w/chronic lyme for 34 years and eyes effected bad by the lyme.
You've been thru so much for a young person; you'll be able to help the parents out here a lot with your widsom from a young person w/lyme! Betty G., Iowa

I signed your guestbook. I need to sit down someday and figure how to set up a web site.
I am one of the ones who was told it was chronic fatigue syndrome and fibro for years. I remember even in my 20's not ever being normal--what ever that is.
Your words in the poem at the end really touched me--it was if the whole world stopped and there was another human being who knew exactly how I feel.
I want to have fun again-hike, go camping, swim!!!!!!!!!!--had a picc line since February. The went straight to the hard stuff with me-had major + bands, +babs and +erhlichiosis.--I am suppose to start orals now but having difficlties myself--elevated cholesterol of a beef eating cowboy who weighs 400 lbs--so next appointment we have other blood work to do-possible referal to cardiologist etc etc----------
Today was okay--was able to shop for some food that will nurish and heal. it has been a good day today.................
take care
Cathy
