There are many types of detoxing for various purposes. It's good to communicate your intentions to your doctor if you trust he/she is supportive and also considering the pros and cons for your benefits.

I had one before and did not want me to do anything else except his drugs and used the scare tactics and threw a tandrum when I want to try natural herbal treatments. I got rid of him and kept my detoxing treatments.

I've completed the following programs and I feel better after each one of them.

1) Podi patch program, www.podipatch.com - this was my first program that actually cleanse 15 types of chemical contaminations in the body such as aluminum, lead, asbestos, arsenics, copper, cadmium, nickel, pcb's, etc. When your body is overloaded with chemicals it tears down our immune system from fight back the diseases. Very, very important to do this consistently. I'm still doing this since August 2004 and hopefully soon I can start my maintenance program.

2) Colon cleanse - the first and most important for internal organ cleanse. Many diseases and bacteria harbors in our colon and their pathway thru our body. The herb I used will cleanse the whole colon system in a natural and pleasant ways so there's no need to sit by the toilet just in case like many other products. You do have a normal life using this product.

I do NOT recommend colonic irigation method because this is only rid of a small portion of your lower colon. Plus I don't want craps push back up by water and then suck out of my butt. (Sorry for the detail description here.)

3) Blood cleanse - this formula purifies the blood, cleanse liver, kidney, lymphatic system, and skin. This product is awesome. My girlfriend had a severe acne outbreaks for almost 3 years and nothing worked before until this formula. Her face clears up 50% so far after one month taking this herb. My body temperature is higher and I don't get cold easily like before plus have more energy.

4) Parasite cleanse - My body felt lighter in a sense of internal sensation. It seems my blood flow is not heavy and dense type of feeling. This cleanse all bad parasites in the body and leave the good ones to support the body. I do this every 6 months.

5) Vision Care - no more floaty stuffs in eyes, blurry vision, achey behind the eyeballs, swollen sensation, and nearsightness improves so far by half a degree.

6) PMS Female cleanse - imagine no more pms symptoms. Before I had cycle lasted 14 days and major suffering. Now, I don't even know when my cycle starts since there's no pain occurs and then only tiny aches in abdomine for few hours on the first day. Now this one herb is a miracle.

7) Sugar maintenance formula - I recently started this to regulate and balance sugar level in my body. This is great for diabetes condition.

I've tried many other programs and products in the past and I found these programs from www.akgnaturals.com are the most effective and easiest to do. The cost is very reasonable for the results. I'd paid more and less for other products, but if it does not work effectively it is a waste of money and my time.

I recommend you contact the company for more info. They're very good and fast in responding to your inquiries. Good luck.

Btw, I no longer take any meds so I don't know about abx, but I don't think it is a concern in my opinion. Before I was on meds and did my detox I was fine. Perhaps someone else on LymeNet have that answer for you. All I know is detoxing is the best thing I've ever done for my body and slowly rid of my illness and symptoms.

A healthy body detoxes itself continuously.
Our main detoxing takes place after 3 PM and 3 AM. Maybe that's why so many feel so miserable in the morning, before going to the bathroom and eliminating some of it.

Knowing what I know today, I would start a detox program with a colonic done by a trained therapist who has the know-how and the proper equipment. A few of these help immensely in the beginning.

I would also look for a colon cleanse. I did Arise & Shine years ago. Look it up on the internet.

If you have heavy metal toxicity, like most do, you should first establish whether you do and that takes a doctor that can think out of the box. Doing it yourself with the various means that are talked about here and advertised, can get you into more trouble if you are heavy metal toxic than you want.
It is the least expensive and the most rewarding if you can find a doctor who has done it a hundred times over and who has a chance to get to know you.

Read some of my posts. I just posted an article under a "Raw Fish" post, explaining a wonderful method called ART for testing. If you can find a practitioner in your area that would be nice. A lot of people travel to other cities for an ART doctor.

Do some research here. If you try the footpads, go back here in the board and read up. Doing them continuously is not a good idea. Taking a break between therapies and anything you take will get you much further in the long run. Your body is not equipped to handle the very potent things many take for months or years. Most turn allergic without even being aware of it, and that just adds more stress to the body and puts healing off even more. Again, an ART practitioner or someone that does sound muscle testing can guide you. If your own medical doctor knows about detoxing, what to do and what not to do, that much the better. Most don't, I am sorry to say.

Look into the KMT22 that I have posted about.
We have been using it for a long time and it saved us a lot in the long run.

Good luck, have patience, and take care.

one question:

can you use the kmt22 device continuously? or do you need to give your body a break from that too?

Heiwalove, You can use the KMT continuously. But there are always times, at least when I was dealing with disease, that I felt I needed a break. Nature calling. So in the early stages, depending on which KMT you have, lets assume KMT22, that has four channels: you could do channel l one day, next #2, next day #3, then number 4; then take a break for 3-4 days, and start over. That way you do all four in about a week's time.

I myself experienced that on this particular KMT22, Channel 4 made me feel super. It is the "Brain Clarity" channel. So I did that one more often than the others. But I always got back to all the others over time. It is very gentle; it is not a killing machine; it is designed with the patient's comfort in mind, and with effectively including microbial inhibition frequencies in it. Any severe herxheimers are not conducive to continued healing and that's not what I got or what I was looking for. My doctor designed it that way for these very reasons. I wish everyone could have one.

I now do facials with it - which I love and hope to erase some of the damage that years of Lyme Disease and worry have done. It definitely works on that too. I plan to take it with me on every trip, just in case a mosquito or someones dog gets too close for comfort. I do, however, feel that since I have eliminated the majority of the heavy metal toxins and dental infections, any new contact with a tick/insect will not have the effect my first encounter with it had. My immune system is able to step in that event, which it was not able to do when I still carried all the toxins I had accumulated over many years.

Many people that have been exposed to Lyme are able to handle it, but probably less so in more recent years, since we have contaminated our environment and all that is affected by it in such a thoughtless way.

So we must be very careful what we expose ourselves to.

Take care.

P.S. I have finally caught on to who you really are, little girl! Have courage. You will make it!

Gigi, By footpads do you mean podi patch etc. Why not do them comtinuously? How long do you suggest using them and then how long a break.

Fullfillment, I couldn't find all thise products you mentioned on the akg site. How do I find them?

I don't know about you guys, but I tend to feel sicker the first few days I'm cleansing myself out ...weaker or something...then I feel better. Ithink it's the stress on the bowels or something..or vasal vagal system..I get very weak when having bowel movements etc..so cleansing makes me weak for a few days... THEN I feel better after

anyone else feel this way?

Hatsnscarf:

Except for Podi Patch ( www.podipatch.com ) and Agaricus Blazei Murrill ( www.medicalmushroom.com ) other products are also from AKG Naturals. However, they recently temporary shut down the web page to do some reconstruction due to label and name changes. They are available for purchase, but you need to email or call them directly instead of thru the web page.

I know that the blood cleanse formula (awesome product) is named BloodChief. Whatever you want to know about just give them the names I'd posted.

Personally I have not taking a break from Podi Patch and I feel fine using them everyday. Couple months ago I tried to start the maintenance program of 1 or 2 nights a week, but my CFS kicked back in after my second night without and then my feet started to ache a little so I started back with my daily "smokey BBQ" treatment again. I'm going to give the maintenance program a try again starting February. Let's see how it goes this time.

I've become very aware with how my body functions and reacts toward what foods I eat or drink, products I use especially treatments, daily activities, etc. My body is my #1 warning system and I found it to be the most effective equipment. Previous weekend I had a little larger portion of birthday cake and I didn't feel good for 2 days after that. Can't have sugary stuff.

I don't expect immediate miracles, but things do change slowly yet surely. Patience, consistent, faith, believe and commitment to get well is what driving me to keep going.

Heiwalove, it's hard to detox without some kind of medical supervision, you can overdo it and do more harm than good.

I am saying that because even under the care of an alternative dr., we have to constantly muscle test to see if I am on too much or not enough of something. If I come in feeling bad, he tests again and has me lower my supplements or get off some to give my body a break.

Please be careful if you are going to try to detox yourself, you don't want to make yourself sicker.

Godbless.
