Has anyone used the Aqua Chi? I had it done this past week. A friend of a friend has the machine. It did pull out a lot of icky stuff from my feet. It was actually disgusting.

There was a coil she put in the water and I soaked for 35 minutes.

I was really sick later that day and very achey the next day.....stayed on the couch all day.

I was wondering if it is anything lke rife since there was a coil in the water. Maybe someone can enlighten me on the workings of this machine and/or share there experience.

Thanks,
robi

Robi, The manufacturer should explain to you in detail the mechanism of it.

We tried one a few times. It was never recommended to us by our doctor. We sent it back after I used it only in my tap water, without feet. Try that and see what happens.

I was not comfortable sticking my feet into it while heavy metal toxic. Many people are - they just do not know or believe it.

The frequency device, KMT22, as well as different models of the same type have been developed without electricity hookup, but runs on 9V battery that seems to last forever, for a similar reason.

Research it thoroughly.

I have been getting BEFE foot baths 2-3 times a week, and all kinds of stuff comes out in the water.

It's supposed to be a good tool for heavy metal detox. I am doing other things too so there's no way to tell if the foot bath is doing anything or not. My alternative dr. recommends it highly for his patients.

It's the same as you described, a little machine put in the water.

Most of the icky stuff is not from your feet; it's from the water. Like Gigi suggested, if you just put the coil (and not your feet) in the water for 35 minutes, you will see the icky stuff.

The pictures online that those companies use to suggest that all the icky stuff is coming out of your feet, and you're detoxifying dramatically, are misleading.

Still, I know a man with CFS who swears by a similar machine, so maybe they do help some people.

Hi there,

I have done something similar called an ion cleanse at my LLMD's office...The water also changes color...and it will change color just from the water alone(depending what type water you have, you can do this once to check for it's "base" color)...but it's not necessarily the same colors as once your feet are in it...

The water has been different colors/textures for me on different days as well...Plus I have seen some people finishing up before me, and at the end, their water was a different color than mine was at the end...

I did it twice a week for about 8 weeks. I was dealing with severe allergies, couldn't eat, was on IV nutrients, couldn't even tolerate any homeopathic substances...but at the end of my 8 weeks I was tolerating more...so it must have reduced my toxic load at least somewhat...I think the benefits are subtle...no major night and day changes...but I never felt worse from using it...I would check with your doc about that...

I'm not sure if yours is the same, but the ion cleanse sends ions (I forget if they are positively or negatively charged) but they in of themselves are healing and aid the body in detoxing...so it's not all about what color the water changes...

Here are a couple of websites I found, that you can read about it if interested...

I thought the Brown water might be from the coil. I am not sure this machine helps ut did not think about it hurting. I will research more before I do it again.

It did cause a herx So I guess I was hoping it was helping my body and my body was killing keets. Maybe that was just wishful thinkng.

I am not the type that has big herxes. I just feel crappy most of the time. But this seemed like direct caue and effect.

Massage definately makes me herx and I have had to stop getting those.

I use the EBPRO ionic foot cleanse with great results - reduced symptoms, less herxing more energy, less MCS and fewer allergies to name few. Its even gotten rid of headaches on the spot and helped fight off colds. Its part of my ongoing detox strategy.

I learned about the unit from a handful of lyme practitioners. One of them is friends with Lance Armstrong's chiropractor and says he uses it on the cycling team for optimizing their performance.

I've been using it regularly (1-3 times a week) for going on a year now. Before this I used the podi patches with good but limited results.

This particular unit is always being tested. The manufacturer works with various doctors and one of them has come up with a specific lyme protocol.

However, the unit is contra-indicated is one suffers from seizures. Also, you have to replace minerals and hydrate well after use. People with hypoglycemia should eat a little something before a treatment. I find it to be a powerful detox tool. I get immediate results, but it has to be used responsibly.
