Hello everyone,

I just thought I'd pass on a little hope.... I had my Picc taken out a week and a half ago and I'm feeling good

I've stopped the oxycotin--decided not to wean myself, just go at it staight on.

I'm not in any pain..... My legs are sore from being more active other than that I feel great!

I'm still doing the vit. B12 shot 3x's a week, not sure how long I'll be on that.

I go see my LLMD on the 31rst. Looking forward to it!!

I had to go to the hospital last week because my daughter had abdominal pain and fever...

turned out to be her appendics. She had surgery last tuesday and we were home on friday.

Ever since then, I've been getting up at 7:00, no naps... falling asleep is the hard part for me.

I still get fatigued but not so bad that I have to go lay down

My children can't believe it...I cooked a chicken with home made gravy, stuffing and potatoes with biscuits last night!!!

I can't rememberwhen the last time I've cooked!!!!! It felt great!!!

Now I just need to watch out for Aug.... That's been the month for the last 3 years(or 4)that it's come back.

Maybe my llmd will have some ideas. Everyone here at LymeNet is in my prayers and thoughts...

good luck, Jamie

CaliLymer, I went on IV Doxy in August- 200mg 2x's a day. then she added the Mag. B1,&B6...

I only did that for 2wks because it made me feel worse and I was tired of feeling that way.

I'm not sure if she is going to put me on any orals or not.... I'd like to know first the Mycoplasma count & I'd like to have another Brain SPECT to see how the Encephalopathy is.

I see her on Mon. Then she'll do blood work and order the SPECT so it will be a few weeks before I know anything.

I'm just so happy to feel some relief from the pain and migrains.

If she does put me on orals I'm sure I will be boo hooing right here on LymeNet

I'll be calling TinCup for a reminder of WHY I'm doing this

TinCup- It sure is good to see you back!!! We ALL missed your smiling face around here !!!!

Let me know when I need to put the chicken in the oven

I see you've been doing some research. Love it!!

Well, gotta go shower... AHHHH a shower---The one thing I missed while on the PICC,

little G

So glad to hear you're feeling better. It really helps spread hope.
I am on oxy and am not ready to stop them yet but I read so many bad things about the drug that I sm afraid of getting addicted on top of everything else. My doc says not to worry as long as I take as directed but It is good to know others are on it for Lyme pain and come off it fine.
