The more I think about the more I think I have lyme disease. I am now having heel pain and more twitching in my facial muscles.

Have any of you had excessive cracking in your joints?

Hi Nukegirl!
I'm in York as well and just read your last 2 posts. I'm going to email with you some info. including a doc that will give you an IGeneX test ASAP (if you haven't already had one).......My heals hurt a lot and I have muscle twitching in my face, legs, arms, lots of places and my neck and knees sound like rice krispies! I will go read your other posts so far........We also have a newly formed support group.......Hope you will come!

Gail

for about one week straight I was getting the "elvis lip" twitch. It was soo annoying. I tried smiling for a picture the other day and I couldnt hold the smile since my face was twitching so bad.

My cracking started a couple of years ago, before I even knew what lyme disease was. Just thought is was scolisis/back/old age problem. Seems the cracking is not quite so bad since starting abx, or maybe it is just shifting to other joints, muscles and tendons which seem to be ready to give out at the drop of a hat.
Twitching is common too. With me, I think the twitching is the muscle relaxing, which is good.
