Does anyone with neurolyme have any cervical spine lesions? Normally, they are associated with MS, but can be caused by other conditions.

Do you think that the lesions could be causing the numbness, the "tinglies", and the strange sensations that travel through our bodies? Anyone wonder about progressive MS which is very different than relapsing MS--there is no remission, just constant symptoms?

Just trying to gather info; I am new to the board and I am being treated for Lyme.

Lyme is tricky, I am not sure if the lesions have anything to do with the numbness and tingling you are talking about. I have those symptoms and I have had 2 cervical and brain MRI's no lesions.

I had an MRI of the head in 2001 and 2004, and it showed a small white spot.

Yes, I do have neuro symptoms but the spot has not changed in 3 year so I'm not really sure.

My opinion, and the opinion of several docs I'v spoken to:

Progressive MS = Chronic Lyme.

You cannot distinguish Lyme lesions on the brain or spine from MS lesions on an MRI.

I was DX with MS for 5 years before I tested positive for Lyme. The tinglies and much worse are caused by the Lyme lesions interfering with and short circuiting your nerve transmissions.

I've had these sx for years, with both "MS" and Lyme.
