My 24 year old daughter has been sick with Lyme disease and probably Babesia for several years. She is currently on Ketek, IV IG and Malarone. She gets bad sweats. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Samantha

The long term solution is probably antibiotics. I had them and got over them. In the nearer term, Detox Tea (Yogi tea Company) might help. I hope so.

Time and treatment will help.

I walk around with a cool washcloth around my neck(sometimes with ice cubes in it).
I also have solid packs of ice that I put under my pillowcase and sleep on (like gel packs for coolers). In the summer I try and keep my hair wet........cools the head and body.

When I had sweats, it was babesiosis. My doc put me on quinine and clintamyacin, right after a month on doxy. I continued with the sweats for about a month or two, then they went away, tho the headache and everything else continued.
