Ok has anyone had pain in the back that is not muscle related?

It has been there on and off for a couple of months. Now when I feel it it hurts much more. It is right below my rib cage on the left side.

If it was a kidney infection it would be unberable by now I am sure. Plus I am on antibiotics. Could it by my kidney not reacting well to being on antibiotics so long?

I go in next month for the routine blood work to check on all my organs etc. Any ideas on this one?

Just a side note (not that I like to talk about this but I am not constipated)..one of my friends thought that might me the problem.

Thanks for any input...help????

Hi Believe,

I don't knwo what is causing the pain for you, but I'm glad you'll be geting some tests done.

Yes, I have had pain on the left side, usually for me it's related to lactose intolerance..and I have to stop drinking milk for a while. I ahve had it way befoer taking any abx..so it's not new for me.

I hope you find out what it is and it gets better, good luck.

I was in the same situation as yours!!!!
Never constipated or diarrea and always with a Urinary Tract Infection!!!!
To make the story short my urologist order a ct scann and came perfect for the kidneys but not so good for the colon(irritated)
The worst part, was that my husband used to make fun of me when I complained by telling me: Let it go..let it go..let it go... you are allow to "fart" next to me after 12 years of marriage.!!!
I'm not kidding I was always really upset for those phrases coming from his mouth.
At the end he would cheer me up by saying that at least one of my pains were not cause by lyme but because of the abx!!

Thanks for the replys. Right now the pain is gone...I don't know where it went but it's gone (ha ha!) Sorry for the dumb humor..Im tired.

No but really I keep getting this pain. It comes and goes. It is really irritating.

Now when I get the pain it hurts pretty bad. I guess I will just tough it out. If I find myself on the floor in pain I guess I will have to go to the Dr. But for now I will wait it out.

Thanks!!
