Just a quick question for all..... After stuggling with herxing constantly for 11 mos now i started taking a different combo....Amox 3 grams a day and ceftin 1000 a day and this has greatly reduced my symptoms. I didn't herx just started getting better and better. Now what does this mean? The meds aren't working or this combo is something that is working for me? Help....Robin in Houston

Robin,

My LLMD says that if you are continuing to improve then you are doing something right.

If you plateau then you need to re-evaluate after a minimum of 4 weeks

If you are herxing then you are probably doing something that's killing the bacteria but if the herxes are so terrible that you can't function then you may not heal as quickly.

Are you still improving?
