I have had a bad flu for 3 days and have seen the return of some of my previously erradicated symptoms. Is this due to the tax on my immune system right now? It has me very upset.

This happened to me in early December. I was doing good no symptoms for three months (exception of floaters, small amounts of muscle twitching) I got that upper respiratory infection that was going around it took weeks to get rid of and now I am back on abx the symptoms came back.

I started with the flu a couple of days ago. At first I just felt extremely achey an had a whopper headache. Yesterday, I felt very achey, had a fever, and post nasal drip. This morning my glands are a bit swollen & I have started a little upper respiratory infection.

For me, that's what the flu felt like even when I was well. So, I can't say it exacerbates Lyme symptoms. But, the two together are surely no joy ride.

It makes sense that you will just feel worse in general because your immune system is working pretty hard.

Rest & drink LOTS of fluids. I have to go to work. Bleeeeeeeeeeeeee.

It is nice to see that I am not alone.

In December I felt like I was really on the cusp of getting better then got hit with a cold and food poisoning in the same week.

It is now a month later and I am just starting to get back to the point I was in December.

Hey, at least the abx kept me from catching strep when my son got it.

I never bothered trying to find the sunny side of things until I got lyme.
