I have had several very helpful dreams over the time I have been treating lyme....

ONE though has left me wondering.

I was on antibiotics last spring, and started artemmisin. I was on it about one week, and just not well, like I was seeing double, and was in bed for hours after taking it, not able to lift an arm, or barely breath.

I then had this DREAM, it told me to not take the artemissin while on medication.
I knew right away what it meant, medication meant antibiotics.

I then stopped the artemissin, as this was a warning dream, and meant I was in danger.

I now am wondering if it was just with the biaxin/flagyl it mean, or all medication.

Has anyone else had a problem with taking artemissin and antibiotics?

When I emailed Allergy Research Group, the woman said that YES it can def interact with other medications, and could oxidize the medication in the blood, something like this. She said if I was worried, to take it alone, no other supps while I am taking it.

I could not do that as needed the antibiotics.

ALSO, wondering if anyone with babesia, did not have any results with the artemissin.. and needed the drugs to get them well, the drugs for the babesia, like the quinine, or mepron?

While I was off antibitoics in the summer I took the artemissin, and it did not help me.
Did not help my suffocation, so I went back on antibiotics. Antibiotics helped the suffocation.

thanks,

Trish

Arteminsin alone will not do anything, you have to take it with an antibiotic.

I went through 6 months of mepron/zith and added arteminisin for the last 2 months. I just tested positive for babesia, so I am looking to do something else. I have been looking into Riamet, and will probably do that in the next couple of weeks. Riamet is an antimalarial and is not avail in the US or Canada.
