In two weeks I will start on ABX. I have the symptoms, history, clinical diagnosis and feel inside it's lyme.

But still have this doubt, what happens if I try ABX and don't get any changes or Herx.

Anyone else that has had these kind of doubts?

Well, if you have Lyme, you have about a 90 to 95% chance you'll have a herx and a 100% chance you'll get better! Pretty good odds if you ask me!

The real doubt for me came when I was going through horrible herxes. I thought "What am I doing!?" The human mind can be a real problem!

I started abx in March. I had huge doubts...mostly because of so many wrong diagnoses in the past.

I really began doubting the treatment in the fall, late September and October. And then something happened. I just feel healthier. I'm not 100%, but I can tell I'm on my way.

I doubted untill I had a major herx.

Then I felt better when I went off cause the herx was bad,, better then I was b4...only for 4 days though.

4 good days after 3 years of being almost disabled most days. My head cleared up and everything. Then I went back on abx and the herxes lasted months.

I still have lots of symptoms,, some things are better when I take the abx,,IE neuropathy.

When I dont take them my burning and fatigue gets worse.

Take care and good luck
