You all have heard me running my mouth about my yeast problem lately. I tried to call my LLMD and get put on some nystatin or something and he's out of town for a WEEK! Ive been watching my diet and taking a probiotic and Ive only had little success. How can I get my hands on some nystatin or diflucan? God I sound like a crackhead!! Just really frustrated since its not even Lyme Im fighting anymore. .

sorry for the rant..

Only a poor suggestion..........do you have a holistic health food/pharmacy nearby? Guess you could ask them what they suggest until doc returns..........am sure they would sell you something ........can't say that it would work but.............

Sometimes I have taken caprylic acid instead of the nystatin..or another yeast killer.

Good luck.

What worked well for us (and fairly quickly)

Oil of Oregano -- mediterranean, organic. 3-4 drops 3 times a day. We had severe die off with this at first, so go slow.

Freeze dried garlic, organic. Forgotten the brand--some are definitely better than others. Be sure it's organic. Take LOTS, until you reek.

Caprylic acid.

Intestinal cleanses with psyllium and bentonite clay to help clear the debris.

Sorry, gotta go. Maybe someone else can come along with more detail. There are other very good natural tx for yeast.

Have you tried grapefruit seed extract? I used the Nutribiotic organic brand, bought at Vitamin Shoppe. Probably available at health food stores too.
