Hi Everyone,
I received enough pre-orders for the magnets to go ahead with the fundraiser. I placed the order yesterday (Monday) and received a proof so I'll have an idea of what they will look like. Here is what the proof looks like:
The actual ribbons will have a brighter green background but that picture gives a pretty good idea of what they'll look like.
There are still some left that can be bought either now or when they are done in 2-3 weeks. But, if you wait they might be all gone!

Okay, just realized I didn't post how much they cost! That would help, wouldn't it.
They are $8 each for the magnets plus shipping ($1 for the first magnet and $.50 for each additional magnet). So, for example, 1 magnet would be $9, 2 would be $17.50, 3 would be $26, 4 would be $34.50, and so on.
Keep those orders coming! If I sell out of this first batch of 125, I will probably order another batch.

As of right now I have 5 left of the first batch of 125. There are still about 40 that were pre-ordered but have not been paid for yet, so it's possible there will be more available, but right now I can only guarantee 5. If there is enough interest in getting another order of them, I'd be happy to do that, but I would need to guarantee that at least 50 would sell in order to break even.
Thank you so much for doing this! I live in a state where very few people know about lyme. I hope this gets the word out in Colorado!

Right now, I have sold or pre-sold all the magnetic ribbons. I have not received payment for about 35 of them so it's possible there will be some extras if some people decide not to go through with buying them.
If there is an interest, I am happy to go ahead and do another batch of them. I would need to guarantee that at least 50 would be sold in order to break even, so if you didn't get some from this batch and are interested in getting some, let me know and I'll keep everyone updated on whether or not another batch will be ordered.

Good ideas there, Joe. There are already some Livestrong-like bracelets out there that say "Live with Lyme" and I'd hate to compete with that organization. I've also heard that it's difficult to get the bracelets made and it can be expensive.
But I like the T-shirt ideas. I'm going to look into it. I like "Lyme Sucks". I also like the phrase, "Life's tough, I'm tougher" which a lot of cancer patients use as well as people with various other diseases. What do you think? I'll look into this and start a new post if I find anything out.
