I had a good visit with a very thourough Dr. R Nuerologist LLMD. He spent 2 hours with me and talked to my husband also.
He doesn't take blood in his office and I can't find a lab to do it and send off to IGX. He wants to retest me for Lyme, babesia & erchliccia three different ways. That's nine tests.

Hi Heather! I'm in NJ also and was wondering if you could email me some information on the doctor that you saw. I've been to a LLMD who says I have lyme and then I went to a Infectious Disease doc who now says that I don't have lyme and to ignore Igenex results so I could really use another opinion!
I'd love to hear more about how your appt went and hope we can compare notes! Thanks KLS

If you have a script for the blood work, then you can go to the site for the lab of your choice, download instructions for obtaining and processing specs.
Then go to a private blood draw place as listed in phone book. give the draw-lab the instructions for obta, ining spec per lab order(s). Some labs mail you they're own spec. containers and mailing containers to ship FEDEX, etc.
I found a small draw lab in the phone book, and they processed my blood according to Igenex instructions. While the lab I went to was in western NJ, I'm sure there's one near you, as they're all over the state.

Someone gave you good instructions on how to do this, etc.
Make sure IF you use Igenex, to print off THEIR IGX form making sure the dr. signs, shows the ICN diagnosis code, and you must PREPAY by check or credit card. ===============================
Make sure you print off IGX's sheet with the 40-50+ tests they do!
On IGX' form, write on there you want the results FAXED to your LLMD and followed up by paper copy by snail mail. (My tests were lost over 5 weeks until I pursued.)
The western blot IGM & IGG were $90 each for total of $180. If they BILL you, there is an additional charge of $40 last year.
IGX & MD labs both file medicare for you. MD labs covers most health insurances; IGX does NOT accept any health insurance.
My BC/BS reimbursement for $180 was $43 since they were NOT on BC APPROVED list of labs.
Call either of the labs you decide to go to if you have any questions; they are helpful.
