Hey everyone!

We are finally getting somewhere! I just returned from Dr.C and found out some exciting news! Dr. Masters has an article in the Journal of Infectious Diseases which is a major medical journal. Can you believe that!!??

His research shows that Middle America has a different form of lymes than East. This kind apparently is also found in northern states. The best thing about this is he has proven it does exist and has gotten printed in a Ducks journal!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe I am wrong to call it that but that is what Ducks will read!!!!

Also Brain Fallon's study will probably be published this yr. He even used CDC control critera when he did his so they can't say anything bout it. Dr. C was encouraging about all this. He also said we all need to get politically active.

A note on the money thing. I was told it has as much or more to do with ruining the tourist industry in all our states as the insurance companies and the drug companies Dr. thinks that is just as big. The Govenor of one of our neighboring states is dead set against anyone finding out they have lymes in that state due to tourism! So now lets all email or call our senators and congressmen and also send letters to papers. I am hoping to get a copy of Dr. Masters article so I can tell TV andnewspers about it.

Sometimes I feel as if I can't do this but I think of all the children who have this and those who have died and I know I have to try something. Wish I was a great leader and organizer so i could really be effective. Maybe when I am better brain able i can do something.

Hope this gives you all hope and gets us going!!!!

Many Blessings
Mule

Couldn't find it on pubmed or at their website, so it must not be out just yet.

yes, this is a good thing. Duck journal for sure.

Thanks for the news.

IMO. it is a combination of insurance companies, federal and state agencies that don't want to deal with another epidemic, academic ignorance and arrogance, and tourism.

I heard a story about an out of state film crew working in FL who got lyme. It was hushed up immediately and offers to look into it by a professional in the field in that state were hastily declined. This is a lot like the stories you hear from medical history long ago....businessmen trying to downplay the fact that plague was in a city. Bad for business if people flee and don't buy stuff.

I think I remember Dr. C telling us it would be published (accessible) in April?

I have heard that tourism is a big reason in Canada too.

Look what happened to Toronto when the Sars hit. Media shut RIGHT up after that. Barely even knew we had Sars anymore. Never hardly hear about the West Nile victims either. They are part of the coverup.
