hi, i'm not sure if this is 'herxing' or not but i am pretty sure my body is detoxing and i cannot seem to get beyond a terribly severe headache. it's quite debilitating. i've been drinking tons of water etc. and tried all sorts of pain meds, didn't take edge off.

does anyone have any ideas, i'd be really grateful.

thank you,
rosemary

Hi Rosemary,

I've been having the same problem. I talked to my doctor last night, after three weeks of severe headache, stiff neck, nausea, etc.

He told me to add a muscle relaxer in to my pain meds. My lymph glands are swollen and backed up, muscles are too, which is making the headaches worse. Adding in the muscle relaxer seems to be allowing fluid drainage and some improvement in the pain.

So I am currently taking Oxycontin, Soma, and Vicodin when needed for a quick response. I am also taking a number of things for detox, but they were not sufficient alone. Doc said Flexeril is another possible muscle relaxer to try.

Hope you find something that helps. I am a little loopy when taking enough to manage the pain, but I'll take loopy over the pain for today.

I sympathise, I had severe headaches for over 6 years. Totally debilitating at times.

My dr. put me on 1000mg of vitamin B12 injection...for fatigue.

After 3 mo. I was begging for them more because the headahes were relieved for the first week.

He took a B12 blood test and it showed normal, but thank God my neurologist put me on injections weekly, same amount.

I inject myself and my headaches are gone. But I also found I can not eat sugar or I get fatigue, fog, and a hangover. I also eat more protien.

Please ask your dr. for the injections, and cut out sugar...there is no reason to suffer if relief is available.
