My semi-paranoid but well-documented experience is that many alternative LLMDs will get you to a certain point of recovery, where you are functioning thanks to the abx they are giving you, and then not take you the rest of the way. If you leave them, you will have to pay lots of money to start over with a new doctor, and put your daily activities at risk as a result.

However, if you do your research in advance and then ask for exactly what you want, they will usually give it to you. Why rock the boat? So no matter how suspect a doctor may be, the real question is, does he give his patients the abx and treatments that work? Can you afford the price of the abx?

Hey Maddog,
If you keep your appointment and you see really good results, please let me know. This is fairly close to me too.

Thanks

Just be sure that you don't have Bart or Brucellis, as both of these are aerobic and HBOT will not kill them. Might even help them do better.

You get to sit in an oxygen chamber, reading the latest edition of "Ducks" Unlimited, and slowly listen to your money draining from your wallet.
Isn't this what Brooke Landau said, cured her ?

DUH???????,

Why didnt I figure that out? Thanks for cranking my voltage!!!

Maybe we should be making lemons out of lemonaide and construct a few of these to help everybody(our whole family ) here without much money invoved. I do "KNOW" where they originally came from or started. They were used in scuba diving, and other depth in the ocean workers to prevent or 'treat' the bends. Coming up too fast for those of you that dont dive. It helped guys work at deeper depths for longer than normal times, being more productive down there!!!

Sorry for the history, most of you probably already knew all this and alot more but some may not be so atuned and 'might' need the help, like me sometimes!!Because I remain--just don--

There aint no thing as the silver bullet!

HBOT Didn't help me. I've done the big tanks and I've owned a mild Hyperbaric unit and did over 100 dives. Did it do anything? Who knows. Right now I'm focusing on Detoxing my tired organs.

I am very familiar with some of the guests he interviewed. If he utilizes any of the advice from these people, he will have more to offer than just Hyperbaric. It alone does not cure Lyme and the many inherent problems. We did about a hundred different things besides antibiotics and made it.

Take care.

The woman on the TODAY show said her hyperbaric oxygen treatments "saved her life"but I believe she is still taking some abx meds ssssoooo
I know of a woman in or around Cleveland O who gets periodic treatments on workers comp down here in Fla...she told me she is doing well with them but that was last year...

This treatment is used by a doctor in Naples for Lyme but it is not authorized for lyme so it costs about 300 per dive and you need 30 dives...this is according to a neurologist I visited last year...my insurance and railroad medicar tells me they can't guarantee they'll pay for it so I'm balking at giving it a try at this time.
I first heard of this treatment up north and the consensus was that it was not a cure...If you are on abx and get the treatment it may aid the abx in getting to the chetes...I don't know for sure...

If you can get it I would....but it's expensive and may not work permanently...

But we are all a little different so....let us know how ya made out............zman

If you have any metal or chemical toxicity, you need to be very careful with the HBO. You need to address these first. You may feel worse or a lot worse if you do the dives if you are heavy metal toxic, etc.
In general, the chances of getting rid of Lyme and the other infections are small if you are heavy metal toxic and don't address it.

Take care.
