Well off the IV Rocephen after a nasty infection with my PICC, completed 6 of the 12 weeks my LLMD wanted me on.. Put me back on 90 Days of Doxy but I have taken a week break due to the flu. Just a question, I have had a constant fever for the past 8 months that no one can explain, low grade, 99.5 100.9. I mentioned it to my PC, LLMD and of course the times I am in the Emergency room and no one can give me a reason.
I'm beginning to question Lyme or some underlying other condition that may exist and perhaps medical science hasn't figured out even though the Igenx tests came back positive, does anyone else have low grade fever constantly?
I'm not sure what path I am going in next, feel like a ping pong ball with this thing, yesterday I could barely walk due to my legs giving out and I'm not sure where that fits into the Lyme diagnoisis.
Kind regards Jeannine

If you do a search on temperature you will see that many many people with lyme have temp regulation problems. SOme are too low, some are high. Mine go back and forth from 97.5ish to 99.5 ish. SOmetimes I can feel it vascillating as I will be very cold and take my temp and its low and then I will break out in a sweat and it will have gone up. I feel very cold when my temp is low. pattiecake

I had this same fever for the first 6 months or so.
now, my temp is very low - max 97.0
It happens....
what does your LLMD say about it? Could be a coinfection perhaps?
