I did find out that i had the amp set up all wrong. I set it up like the picture on the Doug websight as far as the wiring and that is not the way to set up a Nady amp. I had it shorted out totally.

The nady amp can handle about anything but a dead short which it handled for about 3 months.

So now I have the amp set on bridged mono,no jumpers necessary.Just a switch to flip, and walla double the power on the two center posts.

I don't wan't to hurt the amp but the variable speed fan doesen't even speed up when the amp is (not) shorted out,like before . You should see the computer screens in the house go crazy when i hit the on button on the frequency generator. COOL!!!

I have a lot of BIG CAPS ,got them at Mendelsons in Dayton Ohio. But what are they for????

The Capacitors tune up the coil to increase power by about 4 times! If you are already shaking the computer monitors you may not need any more power.

What I use is a switch box with one switch selecting a 1 uf Cap, the next switch selects a 2 uF cap, the next a 4 uF cap, all the way up to a 16 uF cap.

The capacitor goes in series with the coil. When tuned up the current should climb to 10 to 15 Amps. The lights may dim too.
