Yesterday I took the time to write out the short version of my personal story....and to put some links about Lyme together.

What do you think?

Your story sounds alot like mine.

I kept being told I was just anxious and was given anti-depressants/anti-anxiety medication like it was candy.

wow, this is so much like my story!
Great blog.

Thanks for taking the time to do that, hopefully you're helping to educate people about Lyme.

One thing you should add to it one day - co-infections - maybe mention Tick-Borne Disease instead of Lyme? Just my two cents :-)

I was lucky enough to get both strains of bartonella from the little bugger too.

Naomi,
Nice job on your site! Enjoyed reading your lyme story.

Here are a few suggestions I thought of while reading it:

Add these sites:

300 OTHER conditions that lyme disease mimics: http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/Oasis/6455/misdiag-links.html

Show Treepatrol & Tincup's combo newbie links.

Add MD Labs too since they test 16 protein bands like IGX.

Show Durameter's 2 neuro psy links for kids & adults.

I liked the large print making it easier for us to read.

Glad you have a wonderful, supportive hubby like mine is. We've been married 30 years, and I've been misdx for 34 years. He has never known me healthy.

Good job on your site! Betty G., Iowa

Naomi -- or shall I call you Webmistress?

AWESOME! You've really done some work on your site since I last dropped by.

OK - I'm jealous. Clearly when it comes to building a website - I am in the "kindergarten" phase. I'm still challenged when it comes to making my font bold AND large simultaneously.
I mean, @#$%!

So here are some questions you may answer here, or you may just email me:
1)How did you get the background picture?
2)How did you get the other pictures on there?
3)How did you get the music on there?

NOW - I'd like to thank you for still including a link to my site. I did so love how you described it as "blunt" - as opposed to other terms I've heard such as "vulgar", "profane", "a total embarassment" etc. You're sweet. I like you.

Now this is extremely off-topic - but I have a question about cats - so I'd like you to email as soon as you can.

I have a pregnant cat & two tom-cats that don't seem to know when "enough is enough" and I'm just about ready to castrate them myself. (I'm just kidding for anyone thinking that I'm that @#$% stupid.)

Super site, Naomi! Now fork over your secrets to success!

Blessings,
