She has tons of symptoms: Gallbladder of course, rib pain, sinus problems, ear problems, smells bother her, noise bothers her, and she says that she has ringing in her ears due to the audiologist plus other symptoms that I can't remember.

I have tried to tell her over and over again that she should be tested for Lyme Disease and she just refuses to believe me. I think she thinks I am an idiot.

Anyway I can't make her believe me about any of this Lyme stuff but I wanted to give her one more chance to convince her that this could be related to Lyme. She said that she had a gallbladder attact today and of course went to the doctor. She also says that it is the change of life.

I have been told that I should just concentrate on myself and I probably should. I am so very hard headed.

Can anyone give me advice on what I could say to her (other than nothing) to convince her different.

There are so many who suffer from lyme that have been put through surgeries only to find out it was the lyme in the first place causing problems...I know one personally and look at the writer Amy Tan, they took out one of her adrenal glands before they figured it out.

Just let her know you care and while she may think you are crazy remind her that you know a lot more about lyme than she does (in a nice way)...

Tell her that your friend on lymenet with a bachelor's in English has helped diagnose three people including herself when over 40 doctors collectively couldn't figure it out.

Three years into symptoms and before my Lyme was diagnosed : RUQ pain (but not associated with food) back pains, rib pains, stiff neck, crunchy sounds at base of skull, easy bruisability, GERD like pains but not associated with food, sinus problems, ear pains, twitches & fasciculations, odd neurological sensations, feet pains, chest banding, sleep disorders, etc etc...I didn't know what kind of doctor to see first or next. I made out my will.

I wish that I could get through to her before they take something out. You have all given very good advice.

I will have to do the prayers for her to like was said to humor me.

She is a very paranoid person. She had her surgery today and when that is over with and she is healed from that, she will find something else.

I will be there for her if she never figures it out. I just wish she would wake up and smell the coffee.
