I KNOW ROCHE LOSES THEIR PATTEN ON ROCEPHIN SOON. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN??

HOW SOON DO YOU THINK IT WILL GO GENERIC ? HOW SOON DO YOU THINK THE PRICE WILL DROP ON IT??????

Personally, I wouldn't do Rocephin. Maybe you could try claforan instead.

If you do Roc...be sure to do flagyl and follow up with LOTS of orals.

If your question is related to a cost issue, it (pharmaceutical name is Ceftriaxona) runs about $10 a gram in Mexico. I would echo lymetoo in that it's my impression that results from this are highly varied with LOTS of rapid relapses.

Never know until you try it. We are not MDs here and can't tell you what you should or shouldn't try. It is different for everyone. I, personally, did quite well on Rocephin, after I survived the initial side effects.
