It sounds so weird... but my veins hurt in hands arms and legs not all at once. Does anyone have this?

My LLMD says he's never heard that symptom.

That is odd, never heard of that. Not sure what is hurting on you but I don't believe veins and artries have nerves. I know arteries don't.

Heatherkiss,

I have 2 cycles, I have lyme and most likely bartonella, although tests here in Canada said negative to both, but then clinician had to consult many people to get right code and ended up using a code that I felt was not the right one, she just said this is the code that we all use for everything under lyme and including lyme.

Anyways, about the pain in veins. I have terrible vericose veins and when I herxed or went through the 2 cycles, these veins would swell and turn black. Now my varicose veins in leg and ankle are huge knobby gigantic ones and would swell so badly they would twist my knee and ankle, I literally couldn't bend my knee the swelling was so bad. I found a tick behind left knee and had em rash (about 2 inches across) just about 2 inches away on inside left knee. After herxing, the swelling would go down, and skin would turn black and peal.

Because I was keeping an indepth journal, I was able to notice that the veins in my hands, arms, upper arms, feet, some places on face, and on my head would do the same thing.

After being on abx for 6 months, the leg veins had gone down and stayed down. I think it has something to do with thick blood, poor circulation and probably lots of things I know nothing about. Now that I have been off abx for almost a year, my veins everywhere are swelling and hurting everywhere. I start abx at beginning of May. I am not looking forward to it, but I know I will feel so much better.

Corinne
