The search is not working so I need some help from you guys.

Lately I have been getting really sick with incredible head rushes. It feels like I am about to loose consciousness.

I get tingly in the head, have a hard time breathing, I get a "weird sensation" and feels like my sugar level is dropping. It comes and goes in waves. This has been going on for about 2 years.

I have been treated for lyme for only 3 months and was cut off antibiotics. After 2 weeks of being off of the doxy, I have had this happen many times a day (more than usual).

The funny thing is that I have had my sugar tested several times and it has been o.k. I don't believe it's a low sugar issue.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

Has anyone else had this problem? ITS FREAKING ME OUT --- PLEASE HELP!

Just my opinion: you are still infected and you are experiencing some of the many symptoms of LD. Try to get back on antibiotics.

This sounds a lot like one of my more persistent symptoms - almost but not quite passing out. Has been happening to me several times daily for a while now.

For my version, lightheaded is kind of an understatement - 'emptyheaded but for some reason my eyes don't close' seems more accurate. Tends to happen more on days when fatigue is bad, and more after sitting up for a while then when I first get out of bed.

I totally hear you about it freaking you out. It can be terrifying to watch your awareness get mugged like that all of a sudden.

And how outrageous, that you've been cut off antibiotics after three months, when it sounds like you've got neurolyme! I swear, we'd have better luck getting medical treatment from stoned chimps than we do with some of these doctors.

Sounds like you'll need help finding a way to get back on antibiotics. This is a great group, you might want to post a doctor request, they actually answer them here most of the time very promptly.

Hang in there, and let us know if you need help trying to get further lyme treatment.
