and realized you went to bed and completely forgot to take your meds? the night before?

sigh.

I ran the dishwasher last night, and grabbed my teaspoon/tablespoon to put in (the ones I use for mepron/acidop) and thought, "it's only 7 pm, the disher will be done in time for me to take the meds before I turn in."

you guessed it. farted around, didn't unload the dishwasher, and went to bed eventually.

but tomorrow we find out how many more little critters died! my monthly doc appt. I am now down to once a month doc, once a month blood draw! instead of weekly.

Yep, I've definitely had that happen to me. Not exactly the same situation, but I often forget meds or almost forget (get all ready for bed, brush teeth, get into bed, start drifting off to sleep, and suddenly jerk myself awake and realize I forgot something). As weird as it sounds, when I was on IV antibiotics this summer (twice a day infusions) I almost forgot an infusion here and there! I always remembered but it came close to me completely forgetting!

And this morning I'm sitting here trying to remember which pills I took already today. I know I just took two pills but can't remember which two and don't want to double up any med so I'll just wait it out and see how I feel! I hate Lyme brain!

Peace and healing,
Annie

I read you post yesterday morning and said to myself, "I'm glad I haven't done that yet".

Well, I reached into my coat pocket later in the day and there was 1 Zithromax pill and 1 Artemisisn capsule. Who knows how long they have been there and when did I forget to take them? It is very odd that I would toss them into a coat pocket, unless I was running out to a meeting.

Ugh!

Hi,

I can't take anything less than a half hour before I go to bed so I've had all sorts of problems with forgetting my meds.

I hate it when it's 11:30 and the news is over and then I remember my pills. Then I have to sit there all exhausted and wait for the pills to break down enough so that I don't wake up with them in my throat.

I also have a bunch of stuff that can't be taken within x amount of time from another something. That can get downright perplexing.

When I was on Mepron/Zithromax/Ceftin/Art, I really had a bad time. After a month or so, it gets easier but every time I switch rx's I have to reevaluate my lifestyle.

I'm rambling but I hope someone is finding my words entertaining. If not, skip to the next post.

I'm out,

Corgilla

I've forgotten meds on several occasions due to my #$%@( ed up lyme brain; however, I don't think I've missed birth control many times and I don't think I've missed my pain pills much!! that will remind you quickly..
and just so you know I did have my tubes tied this year to be sure I won't have any more babies born with this dreaded disease, I have 2 already..
You know one of my meds was altering the effectiveness of the birth control pill anyway..so now I don't have to worry about forgetting that one anyway! The pain pills I don't forget..
