Can someone answer my post. I am on my 4th week of Doxy which I am taking 4 pills a day. I have started to itch alot around my torso and on my side. It is so annoying and has not gone away. I asked Dr. D if it was the antibiotic causing this or the toxins starting to come out from the ketes dying off. He seemed to think it might be the toxins and I might just have to suffer thru this minor annoyance. He said I can use Benadryl ointment or anti-itch creme for this. Also my twitching has become less prevalent but comes with more force now. I am sleeping better now and only notice minor stabbing aches from time to time. I know everyone's body is different, but has anyone else experienced itching. Does this mean that the Doxy might be working to kill the ketes?

I can't answer about whether the itching is dying lyme or from the abx but I do know it could be YEAST related.

Are you following the yeast protocols for diet, probiotics etc?

If not you might like to consider it.
