i stopped antibiotics but right before i did i think the doctor told me i may have a yeast problem in my throat

he gave my nystatin powder - and YUCK!
i can't do it - it's so gross i gagged! and i am not a gagger!

what's another good treatment?
is there anything natural, herbs etc, that i can try?

Early early on like after my first IV back in 99 I got really bad thrush in the mouth...
I don't know where I heard it cuz I was'nt on the computer yet but I got the idea of using a very diluted clorox bleach and water solution to rinse and gargle with...It did the trick....
I won't recommend this because who knows...I may have meen lyme brain looney at the time willing to try anything but yeah there are supplemental yeast killers...like I believe olive leaf oil...it tastes crappy too....
nystatin pills....I'm sure other folks will let you know what supplements worked for them...my llmd as recently as two years ago suggested the olive leaf oil and have heard others using it here................zman

I've use Mycelex lozenges and GSE (grapefruit seed extract).

Thrush-I just had it for the first time-been taking Ketek for about 5 weeks-Went to local duck and was prescribed Diflucan, one tablet a day for 3 days-I phoned my LLMD and was told to stop abx while on Diflucan. Pat

Warning.....If you have thrush, you most likely have yeast systemically too. Or if you're not following the proper diet, you WILL have systemic yeast.
