I had my monthly appt with Dr J in Hermitage, PA, and got some good news finally. Two months ago, my white blood cell count was 10.6, which they consider to be of a critical level. Last month it dropped down to 9.8 after 2 months of IV Rocephin and oral Biaxin(1000 mg/day). Last week it dropped down to 5.1, and they want it between 4.0 and 4.8. The nurse even commented on the change it my voice, so finally after 2 to 3 months of frustration and seeing very minimal improvement, things are starting to turn around. Now if I can get the strength in my hands & arms back, along with my balance, I'll be all set. Hope you all are doing well and take care.
Regards, Dsiple

When are you due for flagyl or a cyst buster? You'll need that for when you get off the Rocephin. Otherwise you will relapse. [I am not a dr!!!!] Just quoting experience learned on this board.
