I have been pulsing abx for 3 months. I got a small herx the first month but nothing the next 2. I am planning on going on IV next week. Was wondering if anybody else had this happen and if I should go on IV to get a herx or maybe IV not needed. I feel good. I just have ear ringing 24/7 that drives me crazy!!!!I have a little brain confusion but this could be from other things. I have had 2 MRI of the brain and it shows some kind of spot.

Hi poodlegirl- Just wanted to let you know of my recent experience. I had not had a good herx in about 3 months, so my LLMD said to see what wuold happen in another three and we might be able to discontinue treatment if I was truly no longer herxing (been in treatment for a couple of years now!). Anyway, I had no herx for a total of six months, my LLMD reluctantly let me stop to see what would happen and I felt great for about three weeks (probably just because I was rid of the side effects of the antibiotics!) Then I began to feel awful again and my LLMD suggested that perhaps I had been having no herx because the antibiotic combo I was on just was not effective for those few months. I was not herxing becuase I was not defeating any of those buggers. So, just something to think about...it is a tricky thing to determine whether you are "cured" becuase of no herx or whether your treatment is temporarily ineffective and giving you no herx. Hope that helps a bit, though I know I really did not answer anything for you!
