This is one of my worst symptoms and it started in 1987.
I only got tested for lyme in Dec and had 10 bands on the Western Blot from Igenex.
I have never been on antiboitics, but have a appt with Dr J in NC next month.
Does this mean that the sleeping will get worse. I have to take a stimulant to stay awake now.
Please let me know something about this.
Will that ever get better?

Thanks,
Suttles

I am going to see a LLD in NC next month but one of my worst symptoms is excesslive sleepiness.
Does anyone else have a problem like this?

This has been this way for almost 20 years and I have had a sleep study. DX Idiopathic Hypersomnlance.
I have had ony recently had a western blot with 10 bands both IGG and IGM.
Please let me heard something.

Hey Suttles, we'll kick this one back up to the top for the vets.

My son in his worst stages would either sleep 20 hours per-day, or 4. It was an either/or equation. Some days you couldn't get him out of bed, and other days you couldn't get him to bed.

Hi Suttles...You will be ok. The only way out is through..that said, it will get worse before better, but once you find the right combo of abx for your particular strain...you will improve.

I've had this since '84 myself and 5 months ago found the appropriate combo. I'm much improved and still sleep but not as much.Hang in!
