Hello; Just wondering if anyone has ever heard of this from an MRI report -it says:
There are at least 2 subtle foci of increased signal on flair imaging within the subcortical white matter of both frontoparietal regions. These are non specific in appearance and measure 3mm in dimension.Anyone else have this on their MRI?

Thank you MrsSAM

Those words on your MRI:
I (and others) may not have the exact wording, but it sounds quite familiar to most of us that show some abnormalities in the brain due to Lyme.

But they can only be called *consistent with* since MRIs aren't usually used for diagnosis--- except to point out where the problem is, which can tell a *skilled* radiologist a lot of things.

Where the UBOs (unidentified bright objects ) are tell part of the story. I'm not knowledgeable enough to say.

They're useful for insurance purposes. In my case it also gave me relief to know I didn't have a brain tumor.

There's a LOT of information on the web about MRI's that may help you.
