I just started IV last Thurs. I go to Dr.J in NC. So far [after the initial stressing of getting the PICC line inserted] so good. I really feel good. I get real tired in the afternoon and don't have much appetite. My stomach seems to be holding up and I pray I will get better soon. I have a lesion on the brain and maddening tinnitus. I am forgetful and clumsy. I pulsed orals for 3 months and only herxed one time. I hope for a herx with the IV. If not I assume maybe I am not as infected as I thought. Time will tell!!!!I am on rocephin once a day right now. Anybody have a similiar experience? I got a tick bite last april. It has been a long uphill climb to just get treatment. My reg Dr only believes in doxy for 30 days which we all know will not do it. Thank God someone believes in us!!!!

Hello,

I have not been on IV antibiotics- just thought I'd say that I'm happy to hear that you are feeling well and I hope that you find good health in the near future!

Please keep us up to date with your progress. There was recently a post as to whether IV antibiotics are neccesary to get well-

will be interesting to hear your thoughts as you progress into treatment-

I am interested to know how long without treatment after being bitten?

Regards,
Sarah

I started IV antibiotics 7 weeks ago after nearly 2 1/2 years of orals and injectables. 3 weeks into the treatment, I started pushing 2g of Glutathione 3 times a week. I will tell you that I herxed in a major way.

It was hard to live with it but as fast as it came on 2 weeks later the Herx disppeard and I feel the best I have felt in 8 years. My brain is almost back to normal.

I really think the Glutathione made a big difference, it also helped my liver as well, numbers were high until I started taking the injections.

Since you are on the IV I would ask your doctor about Glutathione IV. To me it was one of the best things I have taken.
