I evidently have an allergy to one of the antibiotics I was on. I suspect the allergy is either to flagyl or ketek. My question is, has anyone else out there had an allergic reaction while in the throes of this disease? I am covered in a rash, my brain fog is extremely thick and I feel generally horrid. My LLMD had me stop all meds until my phone consult on May 2. I am taking aveeno baths, benadryl and have done a liver detox. Any other ideas to survive this??

Sorry-no ideas.

Question-did you start them at the same time?

Is the rash getting better?

Can you move up your appt with LLMD?

I,myself, would be uneasy about discontinuing abx for that long.

Yes, I believe i have been having a reaction from doxy. I spoke to my llmd on friday. I was in tears from feeling so badly and havn't been out of bed for about 6 weeks. I've been on doxy since dec. and just thought it was a continous herx. I was having flu like symptoms and always felt lousy. i've been off since then and do think I am feeling a bit better.
