My doc has taken me off abx for a while because of inflammed liver for the next week or two.

I've only been in treatment for 6 months and was wondering if anyone has used a combination of Samento and armensisin? I have an alternative doc who is highly recommending I do this instead of abx. Recently I started to make good progress and don't want to loose ground.

Anyone try this? Previously I've read alot of people have used artemenisin with abx and it has helped.

What's wrong with Samento? I haven't tried it yet, but many here have had some results with it.

ticked....I would try to use abx for as long as you can. Take a rest, then try again later. You don't want the keets to get the upper hand.

I took Samento and Artemisinin along with antibiotics for a while. I'm not sure if they made a difference but I tolerated them well. I was taking the Samento TOA-free liquid: 10 drops 3 times a day. I can't remember the dose of Artemisinin but I know I took it 3 times a day. I was also on Mepron, Levaquin, and Zithromax with them.

Peace and healing,
Annie

My wife and I, after testing positive for
Lyme with IgeneX and Bowen, have been on
Cat's Claw, Kyolic Immune formula, Seven
Forest anti-spirochete formulas, and a few
other supplements.

We remain symptom free of Lyme with former
heavy neuro and arthritic symptoms, and
symptom free from Morgellons, which we
think was far worse than Lyme from our
experience.

I agree that the encapsulated Cat's Claw
works as good if not better than the liquid
extract. There may be some valuable com-
pounds that are not saved with the extract.

We have been on Cat's Claw for 13 months
now, with the only change at this point
being an increase in energy and improved
sleep, both of which are very welcome.
Blue Skies...........John

Thank you!

This at least gives me some information since I'm not familiar with any of these supplements.

Rifing sounds interesting too. I'll have to highly consider that.

Would Samento be okay to take with GI pain?

I've been experiencing stomach problems and am seeing a GI doc. He is doing an endoscopy Thursday and I've been off abx for 2 weeks.

Of course, I'm getting nervous because some symptoms are starting to return.

I believe I've developed these symptoms because of abx and don't want to further irriate stomach or liver but want to keep lyme under control.

Any thoughts anyone?

i took samento for many months. although it caused me to herx strongly when i started it, and when i increased the dose, it does not seem to have helped. i was hopeful when i herxed because i thought it was working. i have been very sick for a long time so its not really suprising. i think samento just boosts your immune system, maybe i didnt have anything to boost. i very slowly worked my way up to 15 drops 3 times a day with the same ammount of nori juice extract. lately i have heard from several people that samento is very toxic on the liver. bad news for no over all benifit. i have stopped taking the samento and plan to finish what i have left when i get feeling a bit better. maybe it will do something then.

I have a friend in VA who has morgellons and wants to talk to someone else who has it via e-mail. Would you be open to e-mailing her? my e-mail address is: [email protected]

I could give you her address privately. She does not have access to lymenet but is looking for things that may help with the morgellons. I am sending her your summary here of what has worked for you but she would like additional info as well.
Congrats to you and your wife on your healing! Best wishes

I've been on it for about 6 months and the only thing I've really noticed is that my chronic cough seems to go away when I take it regularly.

Right now I'm having liver problems and my dr has taken me off.

I used the liquid, 7 drops, 2 x a day
