I have been having problems with vision since having lyme and I was wondering what is going on with my eyes. Sometimes my vision gets blurry, other times I get sort of a "light show" that lasts 5 or 10 minutes and lately I get episodes where everything looks cloudy. It's looks like smoke and it lasts for about 15 minutes then it goes away. Anybody know if these are lyme symptoms affecting vision?

Lyme certainly messes with vision. From what I understand, the biggest problem with Lyme is that it causes an immune inflammatory reaction which can definitely occur in the eyes. I have the blurriness, my eyes seem like they are constantly red, and I have many, many floaters. My right eye seems to flash light in the lower part when I walk. It's scary.

I had the same thing...floaters, blurring and then the flashing lights. My eye doctor says that I should always come in right away with the flashing lights...it could be a symptom of cornea detachment. (I do have some scarring in one eye that he believes is from lyme inflamation.
