Hi there gang,

Just wanted to let you all know that I'm getting better. After 8 months on orals, in June I'll start tapering off.

Had my appointment this past Wednesday and was so surprised by this wonderful news. Took everything I had not to start blubbering.

I'm posting this to give some hope to others.

Monday I'm off to Alaska for three weeks to settle my affairs there. Due to Lyme I've had to relocate to the lower 48 for treatment.

Anyways, I'll post later to give out more info of the protocol I've followed. I did some alternative medicine treatment for 4 weeks on Sundays.

Wanted to share this with you all here because I am so excited!!!

God, it seems possible to get my life back!

Yipee!!!!!!!!

aklnwf -- So glad to hear you are recovering after 8 motnhs. It gives hope to the rest of us, which is so important. Tell me, generally how did your progression go over the 8 months. Did you feel worse at first ,and for how long? At what point did you feel like you turned the corner and noticed improvement? Did you have co-infections?

Thanks!

Hi there all,

Thanks for the well wishes.

Lymeoney, to answer your questions it was really rough at first. I didn't think I could feel any worse but I was wrong.

Had really bad neurolyme, 6th nerve palsy in right eye at one time, trouble swallowing, breathing, etc. also add to that Mycoplasma and EBV.

No other co-infections that I'm aware of yet.

This is my eight month of orals and started doing yardwork-cut grass, edgeing, trimming bushes-so pretty hard stuff.

Could really tell an improvement a couple of months ago.

I really stuck with the no sugar, low carb diet and tried to get some sunshine and fresh air if I could. Even if it was to sit in the sun with my dog.

Took supplements and had hydrothermia fever baths at an alternative health institute at the same time.

I believe that's why I've progressed so quickly in my recovery.

The fever baths I'm continueing along with the orals at this time.

I'll be gone for three weeks and will post when I get back from Alaska.

Hope this helps.
