Hi,

Last month I read some really good posts on eye symptoms like I am experiencing now. People talked about how items would jump around such as stripes on a shirt and such.

I finally read about one of my eye symptoms that I wondered was related to the Lyme.

I have tried to find this post and cannot seem to,,,I read through some items by searching but could not find it.

Since this post was recent I thought maybe someone would recall the name of the topic and date so I can re-read it.

Thanks.

Judith

hi judith - i don't know your symptoms or the thread that you are thinking about - i can only tell you my experiences...a couple of years ago i woke up and the middle of my r eye wasn't focusing - i had to patch it to walk around the house, read, etc...saw an opthalmolgist who prnounced everything to be normal (!!) i got in right away as i was afraid of a detached retina which i didn't have....i hadn't been taking b12 for awhile and restarted - within a week my symptoms were much better...eventually saw a neuro/opthal and after myriads of tests told me i was not not getting enough oxygen to the retina - i had just been diagnosed with babesia so that explained it...this all started almost 2 years ago...still have some slight visual disturbance but not really noticeable - did get worse when i first went on ketek but that soon resolved....well that's my story and i will be diligent about b12 shots for along time to come....my mmp-9 is also skyhigh which means membrane permeability is very bad....if you live in sf bay area i can give you the name of this neuro/opthal...good luck,
deb

I had posted recently about a bad response to the Pre-testing for lasik candidacy. I did not have the procedure done because of the poor vision quality I suffered for over a month. I then went on abx for 1 month to clear the darting, jumping vision, the halos and light blobs disappeared. They were very dry, red, tired.

It has been something that just started noticably after that pre-test exam in Jan 04 I won't trust my body to withstand the surgical invasion to my eyes. it's too frightening. The lyme is one thing but I don't want to add another ingredient to this mix!

The eye question may be from about 2 weeks ago--not sure if that's the one you're speaking of.

good luck

I know which post you are talking about, but I can't find it either. I have lots of eye problems myself. There for a while I swore I was gonna go blind!! I get pain and pressure inside the eyes and sometimes mild blurred vision. It can be scarey!! Someone on here mentioned some supplements. I know a few people who swear by a product called Ocular Nutrition. I think you can only order it on line though.
