Every couple of months I get this weird swollen cheek & under the eyebrow along with redness and tingling of my left eye only.

Gets worse then goes away after a week or so. No itching really but usually the day before I rub my eye a lot. LLMD is not worried but I am. I have been told it could be viral, herpes, allergic reaction or just cellulitus.

I kept track of any possible triggers and there is no clear pattern. I do know when I get fatigued it seems to happen but I am always fatigued. Anyone have any similar symptom or have any thoughts on it. I was thinking it may be yeast.

Thanks.

I get this swollen red eyes and cheek, too, under different circumstances, though. I'm currently unable to sleep because my eye itches so badly. It has happened to me twice about a day and a half after starting a new med. For me it's very uncomfortable. I can't decide if it's an allergic reaction or a herx, although it seems a little early for a herx. Benadryl doesn't help and might even make it worse.

If its swelling around the eye(periorbital edema), this could be symptomatic of or related to a temporary thyroid problem due to inflammation set-off by Bb, clean-up by the immune syst., over aggressive immune sys. response.
I think http://www.arthritistrust.org has a check off list of symptoms and signs; swelling around the eye is on this list, and is where I got this possibility from.

I don't know about the redness.
