Hi All!

The long-awaited bracelets have finally arrived. If you have already placed an order, they are being shipped today (5-5-05). If you have not yet placed an order, please send me an e-mail with the quantity that you would like and shipping address. I will ship the same day that I receive your order (unless it's a Sunday/Holiday).
Bracelets are $3 each and are very lime green with the saying "Bravery-Hope-Courage-Lyme."

Thanks in advance!

I'd like to see a picture, too. How big are they? My wrist is really small.

I'm trying to post the picture. It should be here. It's a bit fuzzy, but you can see the color well. I'll try to take a clearer picture.

The picture isn't showing up. In order to post a picture and have it consistently show up, you have to make sure you have it hosted on a site that doesn't change the photo address. I suggest using www.photobucket.com if you don't already have a host site like this. Photobucket even gives you the code to put it up on different kinds of sites.

I'd like one, but I have a large frame, large wrist - so do they come in sizes that will stretch to fit, like the Lance Armstrong yellow ones do? (I LOVE what they say!)

They are just like the Lance Armstrong ones, except for the saying and the color. I think the material allows them to fit just about anyone. Thanks for the heads up about the picture. I'm going to try photobucket out. If it works, it will appear below. Like I said before, it's a bit fuzzy, but I'll try with a different camera tomorrow.

Thanks for your help posting the picture! I'm so excited that we're going to get these out there to increase awareness. It's working! I've been asked many times in just three days about Lyme as a result of my bracelet!

Hi!

If you would like to order some bracelets, just send me an e-mail with how many you would like. I will then send an invoice to your e-mail via Paypal. You do not have to be a Paypal member to respond to my invoice. PayPal offers three methods of payment. Please do not choose the credit/debit card as I am not a business and do not have the ability to accept these. Thanks!

You don't have to be a business to accept debit/credit cards through paypal. The money just goes into your paypal account and then you can have it deposited into your bank account. I believe this is how it works, and it's how it works for me. Just so you know.

Hi fetzer,

These are great, can they be mailed to a P.O. Box?

We don't have a physical address, so they would have to go through the US Post office.

I would like to order some. So as soon as you let me know..... I appreciate this.

Thanks.

As far as I know, I can mail them to a PO Box. Just send me an e-mail as to how many you would like.

Hi Annie, Thanks for trying to help. The reason that I said I can't do credit cards is because the cost 2.9% of the sale price plus $0.30 each transaction, is not something I can do since the bracelets are being sold at cost. I know that businesses do not have the extra cost on every transaction, so I just figured it would be easiest to explain it by saying that I'm not a business. Thanks for trying to help! I assume that you pay these fees when you use this method?

Oops, sorry for trying to help. Yes, I do pay the fee when I do transactions with Paypal but usually it's just the shipping that it comes out of so I just absorb the small costs. I use it mostly for my magnetic Lyme awareness ribbons. It's just handy to have that option for those who don't want to send a check.

I would order some bracelets, but I already hve one from Live with Lyme and one of the ones WildCondor was selling a while ago and my wrist is only so big! I will direct people at my retreat this week to contact you if they want bracelets, though.

Peace and healing,
Annie

I just wanted you Lymies to know that I ordered some of the bracelets from Leslie and they are awesomeeeee.......I am having to reorder some more because my family went nuts when they saw them......

Members of my family that I never thought would even want one are wearing them proudly and answering questions to people that ask what they mean....It has surprised and encouraged me so much to see how much they have supported me....

I hope everybody's family will respond as mine has. It was such an honor to see my family wearing them and knowing they are praying and concerned for those of us with this horrible disease.....

If you haven't ordered, please do. You might be like me and be totally surprised at who will wear them and how your friends and family will respond. Thanks Leslie. You and Annie have been so wonderful to know and informative to help and support....God bless you all.......

No, it's not a fundraiser. I'm selling the bracelets at cost. It's been a great way to increase awareness.

If you post this in general support forum instead, it won't fall off the first page so fast. Plus, that is where it belongs (says the cranky old lymie).

lou, if I had not seen this post on medical, I would never have known about the Lyme bracelets. I never check in general. Just my opinion though.

Then check in general. This is not rocket science.

People keep complaining that the search function doesn't work. Part of the reason is that non-medical items are constantly clogging up medical forum, so it makes the search much more sluggish.

Be part of the solution, not part of the problem!

Isn't this to promote MEDICAL awareness of this disease?

Why so many rules?

FYI,

I've had someone say that they're willing to pay the extra fees to process a credit card. If you are willing to do so, please indicate in your e-mail and I will add the fee to the total so that I can allow you to pay this way. Thanks!
