Typically, if someone is going to get a herxing reaction, what is the average onset time? I know everyone is different but just an idea would be good...I have been on Zithro and Mino for 2 weeks and started Flagyl today. I have a trip planned for the weekend Harley week and I am not sure what to expect....

Any ideas???

I usuall get a herx about a week to 10 days after I start the meds. But I took some last Tuesday--felt great and took some mosr on Friday. Saturday I slept till 3:00pm!!!

I think it depends on the person, the severity and if your immune system kicks in and starts helping.

So maybe you'll escape the 3-5wk one. They can be rough in the beginning, though they may not get rough until about your 4th month of beginning treatment.

Looks like you and I are on the same Abx plan from Dr J's clinic. I'm about 1 week behind you...new to it as well.

If you want, I'll keep you posted. Today is day 2 on all 3 meds and besides the "normal" fogginess, joint pain, headache,fatigue,(yada yada yada) I seem to be okay. I hope it doesn't ruin my trip to the beach. But I am just so ready to feel better!!!
