Have had a low grade fever (achy sick feeling) for 4 days now (some diarrhea/nausea too) and today wham! a rash all over that's for the most part not itchy, but scary. Also, worried about this on-going fever (hope it's not some superbug).

anyone else have this?

Thanks, Eyal

What meds are you on? Any chance of an allergic reaction?

Was on ceftin/doxy/on-off mepron for about 5 months with no reaction other than 100's of small bumps on my forehead.

3-4 weeks ago, switched to ketek/plaquenil/septra and was doing OK (slightly looser stool) then 10 days ago added omnicef and probenecid. stool became diarrhea-ish and 4 days ago fever started so doc said to take away omnicef and probenecid 2 days ago and now this rash and fever goes on.

I have the bumps (it seems all the time, like cystic acne or something around my hairline), but my vote is that this is a bigtime herx. That's a lot of abx to try and function on.

I KNOW I couldnt do it. I too had flu-like, feverish, vomiting and diarrhea after starting doxy. It occurred approx 3 - 4 times, with illness lessening each time within a period of approx 3 months.

I hope you are well soon. I'm sorry I can't help further, but I have only me to compare to.

I really think you should call your doctor, this could be an allergy.
