This is nothing less than torture!!!

I am so tired of these flucuations. I just want some peace. Fatigue is constant!

The crawlers have become less intense, but now I am seeing spots and shadows.

Is this what recovery looks like?

Hang in there.I did IV last year and it was intense.

I could not read alot then,Lyme brain, but did load up with movies, had my friends bring their used magazines, anything with lots of pictures, easy entertainment while sitting there and wanting to crawl out of my skin from the boredom and pain and agony of it all.

Just make sure someone is there maybe to check on you while you do IV.

I found myself knocked out towards the final drips, hubby sometimes would wrap the process up for me.

Good luck, sounds like you are getting good treatment?Be patient,Yes the fatigue for me was unbearable. The mind worked for awhile, body tired, mind foggy, and the worst is when the fog lifts but the body is soooo tired.Takes awhile to bring them together, working in harmony and that is so frustrating.

Take care.

Hi
Just so you know, it can be done by yourself, I do it by the push method, Reconstituting the Rocephin in 20ml bacteriostatic sodium chloride, I don't have any reaction and it is so much quicker.

The first time on IV Rocephin was 20 months, I just started again after being on Bicillin for a year. I don't know where I would be without this med.

We live on Angel Island in San Francisco Bay, the only way to get here is by boat and I don't have home nursing, even before we moved here I quit having them come out after a few months. My husband knows how to reconstitute the Rocephin and deliver it too, but I do it on my own. I can usually get it done in about 20 mins.

Hope this helps
Cindy
