I had to get off all abx for a week [I am on IV therapy] because of high liver enzymes. I started with a headache in the morning and in 7 days I had a headache so bad I was in agony!!!! On that seventh day I started back on rocephin and clindomyacin and on the 8th day it finally went away. Anybody else have this happen? It was the worst headache I have ever had. It felt like my brain was sore and if I moved it was awful!!!!! Also, my toenails are turning black????? Thanks for any advice I can get

hi!
It sounds like you have been killing off brain keets.I had some really sickening headaches for a long time. Now mine are generally annoying dull continual ache ,but not like what you are describing.
Mine sometimes came with increased hearing sensitivity which makes it worse as every little noise is so loud and really hurts. That is gone now.

Really sounds like you have been killing brain keets. So hand in there.
Rocephin relieved my headaches in the longterm.

Don't know about the toe nails.

Take care,sue.
