Last week my doc told me my bloods were off and my liver numbers were off and with symptoms I was herxing. I mentally feel the same this week and my bloodwork was ok. Is it safe to say that my mental status is me and not a herx as she thought it was. I'm

tired of blaming lyme for something that witht he stress, maybe I just broke down.

Any suggestions? Minimal physical symptoms, but usual electric shocks in hips... I have

had neurological lyme, spect showed it, but I'm scared that I'm left with this, which

feels nothing like me.

Thanks in advance. I'm tired of thinking, I just get my rocephin every day and hope for

the best like everyone else. Stress makes it worse, but maybe this is me. I take

xanax and am on lexapro 10 mg. My lyme psych thinks its the lyme, the

depersonalization is unreal. Totally not feeling the reality of your life or loved

ones.

Anyone have similar experiences?

Cigi

What you experience can be a herx but herxing doesn't show in blood work with exception of CRP increase in an acute phase.

Your liver is under stress but that could be very well from your treatment rather than your LD.

it sounds like you have a lot going on at once. Lyme can create depression.lyme treatments can affect liver function levels
electrical shocks in the hips may be neuro lyme or may be a pinched nerve.

lexapro may not be working or maybe up it to 20 mg to see what happens( different antidepressants work differently for each individual

Take a herbal cleansing remedy for the liver , perhaps something with milk thistle , it will help cleanse and support the liver so that it functions better

Id suggest a trip to a chiropractor to see if an adjustment or two might help your hips

I can't speak for others but in my experience my blood values reflect my herx schedule.

I have blood pulled every Thursday and I herx on a tight schedule, every 3-4 weeks like clockwork. The herx is very intense, lasts exactly 5 days and does not coincide with my periods.

Normally all of my values are pretty much within normal limits - on herx weeks my CRP shoots up, my sedi rate shoots up in the 90's (usually ~10 for me), my liver values go nuts, my electrolytes are off and my white count drops. At first this scared my PCP but with coaching from my LLMD she has come to accept this as "proof" of what is going on with me and justification to go to bat against my insurance company to get me treatment.

I agree though - it is not realistic to pull the lyme card for everything in our life. Even "normal" people have stiff, sore days, fatigue and days when their brain is in a fog. Anything that happens outside of the 5 day herx, I pay attention to but I realize that real life has its ups and downs independent of lyme as well.

Good luck!

So far my bloods, every three weeks, have been normal since starting abx and at times I have felt like 'death' when they've taken my blood. So, I don't think it shows, not in my case anyhow.
