I started Doxy two weeks ago 400 mg day.
Nothing much the first week, just the usual not feeling to good.

My cervical neck has been getting worse for a couple of months and now worse than ever but the energy is worse.
I have been sick for almost 20 years and this makes me think I have so far to go that it may never happen.
After a month on the Doxy I take ceftin, then zithro or flagyl I can't remember.

I have noticed a feeling like being bit by a bugs. I have seen others mention that but I never had that problem.
Now I keep looking for the bug but its not there. It will itch were the bit feels like it is.
Also something real strange that has never happened.
About 5 days ago my shoulder blade and back area went to shivering like it would if it were cold only it wasn't.
I don't know if I could even call it a spasm.
This lasted for a couple of hours.
It was like a drawing and trembling.
Can anyone please tell me it they have felt this?
More than anything I want to feel like doing something and have more energy.
I take a stimulant now just to get out of bed.

I need to know also does life ever get better?
Thanks,
Suttles

Yes, it does definitely get better. It did for us - not just better, but perfectly fine.

But the only way that we have found to reach that point is to address not only Lyme and co-infections, but all else that happens when the immune system has not been able to keep up for a long time.

Read especially the article "Lyme Disease: A look Beyond Antibiotics".

Take care.

are you having any candida problems?

I have found out about the sunburn.
I have had many sunburns but this is fast and it stays.
when did you notice a difference that things were getting better?
I don't think I felt this bad the first week.
I am not feeling as bad as I have from just being sick, but just bad enough to feel worse and then the weird back shakes.
That has me puzzled.
thanks for caring enough to reply.
It is comforting to have someone just let you know they have been there.
I can read older posts and see it but when it is happening it feels nice for the reseaurrance.

Hi Suttles
My candida has actually got better
after being on doxi for a while.
-How long dose it take to feel better?
-It depends on many things--How sick
you are-how long infected-your overall
health--amount of doxi taken-

For me-I was very sick-bed ridden-
I was infected 20 yrs ago-
overall health was poor--
Dose to low-Mistakes taking--

-- At first I was taking 200mga day
and eating yougert at some time-
- calseum in yougert binds with
doxi makes it ineffective- big mistake.
Also 200mg a day- is not enough.
-I did get a little better at this
dose for short period of time-
then relapsed-
--I then upped dose after 6 months-
600mg a day
Took about 3 weeks for it to kick
in hard- have had many ups and downs-
Higher dose is Much more effective.
Doxi can combine with many things
minerals-calseum ect.-be careful.
Take on time-Dont miss doses-
this is Very Important. Buy extria.
Take the sun burn thing seriously-
it is--there are some picture of
burns on net- will freak you out-
I got a burn almost this bad after
taking doxi 3 days--Becareful-
-For me--drinking lemonade made
me Super photo sencitive on doxi-
I quit drinking and now I can go
out side almost like a regular
person-- Great-- Sure Wish I
had known about the citrus
reaction 2 years ago. -Jay--
